Saline Community Education
The Community Education Department provides an extensive program of recreation and enrichment opportunities in the following areas:
- Lifelong learning
- Positive recreational opportunities
- Cultural arts programs
- Special community events
- First Steps Washtenaw/Preschool Programs offers a wide variety of services and support for families with young children. i.e. playgroups, developmental screening, and preschool sessions.
- Saline Latchkey Program offers quality before and after school programs for families.
- Pooh Corner Preschool offers quality preschool for 160 children for the 2004-2005 school year. In addition, Pooh Corner serves as a lab school for 48 high school students in the SWWC child care program.
Building Usage and Rental
All seven school buildings are open to the community on school days until 10:00pm and weekends upon request. Cafeterias, gymnasiums, auditoriums, meeting rooms, and classrooms are available. To process a request please read the facilities guidelines and fill out a building usage permit found at the link below. Please allow at least one week for processing.
