This year Junior Theater will present "An Evening With Mary": scenes from MARY POPPINS. We will mount a full scale musical production and in the process of learning and rehearsing the show will also focus on some important drama concepts including: audition tips, effective use of voice, face and body in character impressions, hands-on strategies and exercises for character development and developing relationships with other characters on stage, scene interpretation/creating emotional levels and effective pacing. We will also use this opportunity to familiarize students with basic stage areas, and commonly used theater terminology and concepts.
